Tried to make appointment for 1st thing in the morning but proprietor was out of town and could only meet late evening. Offered a deposit but was denied. He sold it someone else that evening.

I understand how you feel, it's no fun to miss out on a nice car especially a Corvette. I was out of town helping with my wife's non-profit that benefits our first responders. We do receive multiple emails on our vehicles every day. Deposits are a slippery slope, we could accept a deposit and maybe you buy it, maybe you don't. The experience was good. The car drove very well. I noticed too much rust on the car. It came from Louisiana so I assume it may have been a flooded car.
Fantastic experience buying the vehicle. Husband/wife team very knowledgeable, friendly, honest. Established a comfortable, easy environment. Dealership was immaculate in every way. This dealer is top-tier all the way and wouldn't hesitate a moment to buy another vehicle from them in the future.
