Had a LifeSafer ignition interlock installed, after six sweaty hours in a chair in his shop, it was finally ready. Or so I thought. In less than a week, I have been stranded twice, each time for over an hour, because the device was improperly installed. Finally, a friend came, and just unplugged the device, started my car, and drove off, which one shouldn't be able to do. LifeSafer is having the device removed at a different shop, at their own expense. I wouldn't let this guy touch any vehicle of mine.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! After two appointments and over 6 hours ( a 1 hour install), this guy finally "installed" an interlock from Lifesafer incorrectly and not only will my car not start with the device in, it actually starts if you just unplug it. I was instructed to have my vehicle towed at MY EXPENSE back to the shop for him to figure out what the issue was. He continually blamed it as an operator error even though the device is clearly not installed properly if it will start without it being connected. He has only be... read more
