We have been coming to Capt'n Frank's for years and every time we make it back to the Outer Banks this our first stop every time. Carolina dog is my absolute favorite.

Since I was a teenager (quite some time ago lol) we've always visited capt'n franks. Now with my own family we continue the tradition. The food is always delicious and the staff is always amazing. They are like family we see several times a year. One of our favorite places!
Hotdogs are the main fare here. This is an OBX landmark, dating back many decades. VERY casual. Kid friendly. Closed Sundays.
Friendly service. Many choices of how your hot dogs are prepared. Hush puppies, crinkle fries and onion rings are options for sides. They have Pepsi products. My husband is a big hot dog fan, me not so much. However I ordered one slaw dog and it was so good I went up to buy another. Highly recommended for you and your whole family.
