We happened upon Captain Tom's several years ago. The exit on I-40 is about half way between our Durham & Alexander County homes, so it is a great stop. We love Wendy in the bar! Service isn't as good if she isn't working. The food is always fresh & hot, or cold if it is salad & oysters! This a must stop for us!
Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Their aquarium is also crystal clear. A little bit of a wait but it's 100% worth it when it comes to excellent food!
