Waited almost two hours from the time we checked in to the time our dinner was served. The food came out about room-temperature, not even warm. They ran out of baked potatoes and served mashed potatoes as a substitute without offering anything else and they were not even warm. RecommendedThe breakfast is amazing! I've tried something new every time we've eaten there and haven't been disappointed yet. The prices are very reasonable as well. Prepare for a wait on the weekends.

Best breakfast in town. omelets are huge and home fries are the best. Great value.

We have lived here in New Bern for nearly 7 years and have wanted to enjoy the rooftop on several occasions over the years (including today) only to be turned away for one reason or another ("we're in between breakfast and lunch shifts and not seating anyone yet" Really??? "the roof is closed due to lack of help" and various others). the wait staff was excellent very nice people only thing was the meat was overcooked for my preference but all and all a very nice experience I would definitely eat there again. really great service from the wait staff .

I love Captain Ratty's, don't get to go often since I don't live n New Bern anymore, so when I do get to go it's a real treat!!!!!!!! Great food, great service!!!!
