RecommendedFourth trip, and we re Floridians. Lodgings have always been perfect, staff very friendly and accommodating. We drag a couple of boats down and dockage has always been steps out the door. Close to some really fine bars and restaurants, and a fun boat ride away from prime waterborne activities, Captain Pips is “Our Place” Hopefully they stay small and intimate, as it is the epitome of the “ Keys Vibe”. 1 hour away from Key West if you do decide to punish tour feet and Liver, Pip’s Value to Cost is well worth it.
The wife and I needed to have some water therapy this morning so we decided to hook up with Captain Mike and First Mate Jenn with Spirit Snorkeling and Charters. From start to finish both Captain and first mate were great host with an at home feeling upon the boat and very knowledgeable about the Reef and the Sombrero Light House. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL.... We had an amazing stay. The maintenance was on top of everything. The grounds are spotless! So much to do. Beautiful rooms. Highly recommend. And very KID/FAMILY FRIENDLY. Snorkeling trip was amazing! Love it there!
Just checked in this evening but already impressed. Beautiful cozy room and great views. I will be posting again after my stay but I highly doubt it will be negative!
Super friendly staff, clean rooms and great atmosphere. Almost hate to leave them such a good review because as a Floridian I kind of like to keep these gems from the Yankees, but I just can’t bring myself to leave a bad one. Comfy beds, clean rooms and pool area. Caught a couple Mangroves and 4’+ nurse off the back dock. What’s not to love? I will be back as often as my vacation time allows
We had a great time!! Weather was wonderful, water was clear and Captain Dan and Jenna were the best. Highly recommend!!
We went snorkeling and Capt. Mike and Kevin were excellent. They took their time with everyone. Always counting to make sure all guest were safe. They make you feel comfortable if you can't go in the water. Keep in mind you HAVE to know how to SWIM. You dont have to be a real strong swimmer but you to be able to get back to the boat. The coral and fish were gorgeous.
We had a wonderful stay! We were greeted by a friendly, and well organized staff. We got to our room, and it was exceptionally clean! Wonderful amenities and cozy. Great location, easy to get to, clean, quiet and the best deal for lodging in the keys!
