Food was excellent, atmosphere was good, and Jim our waiter was great. He was on the ball, we were served promptly and with a very good attitude.
Fresh tasting food, great prices and Donna (our waitress) was the best! We will be back!
My favorite seafood restaurant in BC! Has always been since I love the Calabash style (so light and ungreasy). Not quite as personable as it used to be with original owners always floating around the dining room but still fabulous food! It was my birthday so I got a free brownie sundae! Yum!
My wife and I found this amazing restaurant by chance. It has become our favorite place to eat even though we live quite a ways away. Great service, great atmosphere and the food is OUTSTANDING! We've never had a bad experience at Captain Luey's!!
This rating is purely about the food. $40 later after only half was taken off of the entree price and lobster tail. We left dissatisfied and did not want the food that was offered to us. Our seafood was chewy, and had a consistency of rubber. Donna was great and tried to be accommodating. She asked us to come back and give them another go, but in all honesty, I don't think that will happen. A cook should never let an entree leave a kitchen looking like that.
