A place that is made to make you feel welcomed to the area and to a family's own dining table experience.
Over an hour wait time from sitting down to receiving food. Food was cold. Killed a cockroach at our table. This place was a staple for years in our family. Now will go somewhere else to eat during annual family beach trip.
Large portions and very tasty!
First time here and I was so impressed! I had the sauteed shrimp and it has to be some of the best shrimp I've ever eaten! I will definitely be back.

Dinner at Captain John's was wonderful. The food was delicious as always and service was very timely and pleasant. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. I recommend Captain John's to anyone tgat loves Calabash seafood.
Were told we had to wait outside or at the bar. We looked at the bar and a man told us we could not stand at the bar since we had a toddler, it was very hot outside and the sun was right on us. Would not go there again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone
