Amazing!!!
Captain johns is a wonderful place to rent out equipment to go on the lake. Sad the water is so low. It’s still lovely though.
We have visited Captain John's twice and have always had an amazing time. The staff is friendly, nice, and patient. I have recommended this to all of my family and friends. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
The 4th of July Extravaganza was a joke. They ended up putting alot of us on a very water soaked and muddy beach. They advertised a beautiful beach. It was not beautiful. Fireworks were far away, were supposed to start at 8:45pm didn't start til after 10pm then only lasted about 15 mins. They had 2 port a potties for all the people who showed up. 1 family in front of mine actually ended up killing a rat (by accident) which had come into their little area and come by their lil one. The place had no shade from the sun, we payed $50 for our spot and where still moved from it three times, they put us next to the Portable restrooms, and they had only two for all that people, their was a big line of people in our area we felt uncomfortable. The fireworks where too far. I don't think I might go back there, their are places near the fireworks and are free in the same area. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
Great customer service! They were slammed on Labor Day weekend but did a great job at handling the flow and accommodating everyone
The Tarzan boat was fun and the lifeguard was friendly but the other staff was not very helpful.
So Captain John's Fawn Harbor and Marina hosted a 4th of July extravaganza advertising a free concert, Hawaiian BBQ to buy, and a great place to watch the fireworks. Though there was a cute little concert going, they did not have any food to buy like advertised and the spot to watch the fireworks, which you had to pay $20 for, was actually super far away.
