We specialize in New England style seafood, from creamy clam chowder to haddock and scallops. Our menu offers Daily Specials such as Homemade Lump Crab Cakes, Salmon Croquettes, and 1/2 off bottles of wine on Thursday. And we have the freshest seafood on the Grand Strand. That's right we said fresh. Our seafood is so fresh we don't own a freezer. In addition, we offer Ipswich whole belly clams, poultry, and center cut steaks entrees.

Service was very slow and poor. Food came out before we even had drinks. Food was just ok.

I eat there every time I go up the beach . I get the lobster roll always. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. Friendly staff and great service . Met long time friends there today we had a good time.

We go to Captain John’s for lunch 3 or 4 times a month (driving up from Georgetown). I LOVE the Super Salad with fried shrimp. I’ve never hadsuch lightly battered shrimp, it is so light and fresh-tasting.
