Been years since we visited The Captain...but boy did we miss it!!! The subs were awesome and the tolls and 40minute ride was worth it . Loved the fact that now we can sit in and eat. For years we ate off the back of our car...lol. Will definitely be making the trip more often. The subs are huge and trust me...worth every penny!!!!
Won't take orders over the phone an hour before closing. Lost a customer.
The meat used seems to be pre-chopped or ground. It was in clumps on the roll and would fall off. The meat also had an odd taste. It's a shame. It's not what I remember.
The best steak sub I have ever had, you can't keep all the steak on them no matter how much you try. I grow up in Maryland. My dad would take us to get steak subs when I was young. They were the best ones, I have never found another place like them. When I visit Maryland I always have to get a steak sub from Captain Harvey's!
More steak fell off my sub than I've eaten in my entire life! So much meat! Drove all the way from the ATL to get one of the subs my dad has been telling us about for decades. Can't wait to come again. Does that food truck make road trips??
