At our Covington, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I went to the Captain D'S here in Covington, TN today..... The food tasted horribleeee. I got the 2 piece fish and chicken meal. The fish was very dry and barely had any taste, parts of the chicken tenders felt like rubber as I tried to eat it, the fries had a old, kinda burnt taste to them and were not fresh at all; and even the Mac and Cheese, which is my favorite at Capttain D'S, had a sour taste to it....... Food was hot, and the fries where good. But I got catfish, and idk of it was even catfish. It was a white fish. And more like fish sticks. Little expensive for fish sticks. And it didn't even come with a beverage.
