Can't say much about the atmosphere as I was inside less than five seconds. Staff was polite and service was fast. Would have helped if app told me food was ready like it's designed to. Maybe staff not Quite up to a five star. Anyway... the food. I was trying to remember why it's been many years since I ate at a Captain D's. Now I remember.
Saturday my husband and I stopped in for an evening meal after 5pm, the counter lady was pleasant and took our order, food was delivered quickly, this was a dine in meal. We quickly discovered that both plates had what appeared to be ALL OF THE CRUMBS FROM THE FRYER! What is left on the plates are those greasy crumbs. We love seafood and understand that this is fast food..however it wasn't very fresh nor was it hot. Decent fast food places, friendly staff and cold drinks.
We just got a pint of cole slaw. Today it was good. The price is always good for its size. The window cashier was very pleasant and friendly. Approximately 2 weeks ago, the slaw tasted close to being spoiled. I suggest slaw should be monitored closer, and a taste test done daily before serving it. Update 7/12/26 Everything was great.
