Ambiance, food and service all great! Pork and sauerkraut, Bloody Mary and football on New Year's Day. This place is hopping!!!
FABULOUS restaurant and gathering place! We LOVE the food, atmosphere, servers, and fun that is always happening at Benders. Hard to say which food is the best on the menu from the juicy burgers to the Cajun pasta to the super salad choices to the many varied appetizers. WOW, they sure have beer choices too! This is our go to spot in the area.

It felt very comfortable and relaxed. The food was very good and fairly priced. Neat feeling being so close to some of the sites associated with battles of the Civil War.

Paid a visit to this establishment after hiking through Antietam Battlefield. Very friendly bar staff. Good draft selection. Flying Fish, Dogfish, Antietam Ale, and of course Natty Bo among tap selections. Had the Phoenix Sandwich. Wasn't as spicy as I expected (I eat a lot of spicy food, your comfort level is probably less than mine) but the chicken was cooked perfectly. Not undercooked, but still juicy and not dry. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely pay another visit.
