The aim of Captain Andy and his stalwart crew is to ensure that each guest has the maximum amount of fun. People who want to cruise and play will probably be more than happy with the Captain's itinerary. Sunset sails, whale watches, day cruises and half-day sailing adventures are offered. All of them provide the opportunity to spot whales (in season), spinner dolphins or other beloved Hawaiian marine denizens. Day cruises offer a buffet lunch; evening cruises include cocktails.

I took my 10 year old son on the raft snorkel trip and it was absolutely amazing. We had a great time with Captain Ted and Ian, the speed, huge waves, views, dolphins etc. were all amazing. This is a bit of a wild ride, so not for everyone, but we loved it!
This was our first trip to Kauai. Our family loved the tour. We had a great time. The crew was friendly, fun, and so helpful. Would definitely recommend Capt Andy's for your tour.
We took the Sunset Cruise on the Southern Star with Captain Casey and crew members Alison, Jordan, Elijah, and Hans on Tuesday November 3rd. Let me tell you, it was EPIC! Not only was the crew informational, fun, and outgoing, but the sail that night was so wonderful and memorable. We saw pods of spinner dolphins 4x, there was a whale sighting, we saw a rocket launch from the navy base, and we had a gorgeous sunset. Hands down the best way to see the Napali Coast! It's a very safe and enjoyable ride. There were several people who got sea sick on our trip so please be proactive in preventing that before you board. The lunch was also delicious!
My new husband and I did the snorkel cruise on the Northern Star, and we had a blast! The views of the Na Pali coast were breathtaking, and the Captain was full of interesting facts and fun commentary. We saw bottle nose dolphins and Hawaiian spinner dolphins swimming alongside the boat. The breakfast and lunch were both yummy, and the boat itself was very nice. My husband and I went on the sunset dinner cruise on the Southern Star for our honeymoon last week and we loved it! Chef Hans cooked a great steak with shrimp and the captain and crew were lots of fun! The view of the Napali Coast was beautiful and so was the sunset. We also got to see some bottlenose dolphins.Thank you guys!

This was the best part of our 10 days on the island. It was absolutely breathtaking. The water is turquoise blue. The crew at Capt. Andy's are the nicest people you would ever meet. I am so glad I went on the catamaran ride. I highly recommend them. Don't miss it. You wil LOVE it.
Wonderful crew! Great boat (Northern Star)! Food is excellent (full sized steak, 3 shrimp on a stick - not breaded - even better), salads, veggies, potatoes and all you care to drink with or without alcohol. They let our 5 year old granddaughter "drive" the boat (on autopilot with the captain right next to her) and she rode on the trampoline through all the wind and spray - loving every minute of it!
