The aim of Captain Andy and his stalwart crew is to ensure that each guest has the maximum amount of fun. People who want to cruise and play will probably be more than happy with the Captain's itinerary. Sunset sails, whale watches, day cruises and half-day sailing adventures are offered. All of them provide the opportunity to spot whales (in season), spinner dolphins or other beloved Hawaiian marine denizens. Day cruises offer a buffet lunch; evening cruises include cocktails.

The rafting expeditions and sea caves are awesome fun. The more kicked back sailing is a great way to see Kauai as well as get in some snorkeling. A great addition to your island holiday.
Great snorkeling your and great employees! Even though it was foggy and rainy once we hit the Napali coast, it was still breathtaking. I wish we could have done more snorkeling but I liked what we did. We saw sea turtles, whales and dolphins up close! So cool!! The food was great too!!! My fiancé was so sea sick the entire way, so I felt horrible he didn't get to see much of the sites, but the staff took such good care of him and treated him like they knew him for years. I will definitely return and do another tour!!

The Sunset Dinner Cruise was amazing. It is a must do activity on Kauai. Spinner dolphins swam with us and we were able to see whale activity. Great value for the cost.

Sailed on the Northern Star 65' catamaran, the 4 hour sightseeing, dinner and sunset sail, January 31, 2016. We saw many Humpback whales spouting, rolling and spyhopping as well as Spinner dolphins on our tour. Lots of great photos taken of the Na Pali coastline and marine animals. Also, we were fortunate to be able to sail along the Na Pali coast that evening. Beauty like no other we've seen. Thanks to the Captain and crew, we will have great memories.

Really a classy operation. The waves on the way to the Napali Coast got a little high, instead of pushing on and only getting within a quarter of a mile of the coast, they fed us part of our dinner (shrimp/grilled vegetables) and took us safely back to port and refunded us our entire fee. Perfect way to treat people. Kudos to Captain Andy, I'm sure there is a Hawaiian word for Kudos.
Had the most spectacular day aboard the Northern Star today with my family, including three children under 11, and my sister. The crew, Captain Kirk, Heather, Luke, and Clare were wonderful from start to finish. Always there to lend a hand, help keep our kids occupied and having fun, serving great food and drinks. As well as arranging the best day of weather to see the coast and some whales as well.
