The aim of Captain Andy and his stalwart crew is to ensure that each guest has the maximum amount of fun. People who want to cruise and play will probably be more than happy with the Captain's itinerary. Sunset sails, whale watches, day cruises and half-day sailing adventures are offered. All of them provide the opportunity to spot whales (in season), spinner dolphins or other beloved Hawaiian marine denizens. Day cruises offer a buffet lunch; evening cruises include cocktails.

My husband and I went on the rafting tour, and it was incredible! Capt. Allison was a bad ass while making sure everyone on board was safe and enjoying themselves. We watched spinning dolphins and sea turtles along the way. We were first time snorkelers, and we felt safe and at ease in the water. The ride is tough, and you will feel it the next day, but the beauty of the Na Pali coast makes it all worth it!
We had a breathtaking and exhilarating rafting expedition with Captain Nicole and Future Captain Roy this morning. I was so impressed with their professionalism, breadth of knowledge, and sense of humor! It would be very easy to just let the gorgeous nature speak for itself (and it does!), but Nicole and Roy made the voyage that much more spectacular with how personable they were while also being consistently concerned for our comfort and safety. My family of 7 and myself were on board July 5th dinner cruise and the Northern Star's crew deserves a 10 rating for all the work, attention to detail, marvelous food, beautifully catered in an outdoor setting: all with a smile to everyone. The ride was along the coast is one of the best I have ever undertaken. My family was delighted with the experience and will definitely be recommending Capt. Andy's to others that go the Kauai.
Our family did the 8 am Snorkel BBQ Sail. It was the highlight of our 10 days on Kauai. Next time I would do this trip twice over some of the other island adventures! Thanks to Capt Mike and his crew: Heather, Jackie and Luke

My husband and I did the 6 hour raft tour. One of the funnest things I've ever done and worth every penny! The Hawaiian fishing village was a plus and snorkeling is always fun. Capt Tara was wonderful! I would love to do this again one day.
The absolute highlight of our trip in Kauai! We took the snorkel BBQ trip on the Northern Star yesterday and it was amazing. The captain and crew were extremely attentive, professional and entertaining. The views were spectacular and we came off very glad we picked this particular tour. Well worth the $
The sunset dinner cruise was the best! The best value for the dollar on the island. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
