If I could leave zero stars, I would. On October 1, 2023 I gave my notice to the leasing office (I have email confirmation) as my lease expires December 27, 2023. The rental company partners with a company called Flex who pays Capstone Management my rent in full on the first of every month and Flex does this by verifying my rent, a few days before its due, through the rental portal provided and managed by Capstone. Capstone Management and their employees are the worst. We moved in April 2023 so it was under capstone management already. I have called all the offices in ***** and no one ever answers even if a voicemail is left they wont return the call. I have left ************************* messages and no response. I currently rent from a property ************ ** that was recently sold in January 2023 and managed by Capstone Real Estate Services. Since Capstone has taken over there has been consistent issues with billing from not receiving monthly billing invoices to possibly overcharging for utilities. Also there are no records of any maintenance work orders prior to the sale of of the property. I moved into the property about 3 years ago after I sold my house. I was fed up with contractors about repairs & lawn services that never showed up. Some months ago Tuscany Apt was purchased by Capstone. For the first time we have a great management staff, but the service is horrible. A residents child almost got bit by a huge black snake that came out of the high grass on the property. I have never seen it this bad. Purchasing of supplies, equipment and materials is contingent upon proper funding. This resident does not understand that her account will continue to accrue late charges until the balance is paid in full. Management has tried to explain to her on several occasions as to how payments work. Just because she submitted a payment and wrote "May rent" does not mean it will post for ***** rent. If there are any past-due amounts owed any amount paid will first go towards past amounts due. Her balance is not decreasing because she is not paying late fees. The District Manager for ************************ needs to be replaced. How in the world does applications have to wait for his approval and not the on site property manager? The office ladies said they have reached out to him 4x to approve over 10 applications and he has yet to respond. Move in and move out dates are extremely important as you will have no where to go if your current lease ends and you are waiting around for a District Manager who isnt doing their job accordingly. I have been hung up on twice but the HR person and April ****** All I was seeking if someone to speak about the problems Brichwood Apartments are facing trying to get their property rented out but have to wait on a man who isnt doing his job promptly.Â
