Close to the University of Alabama. I had a good experience here.
The room was 78 degrees. When we complained they sent a maintenance man who explained that the only thing we could do was turn off the heat. We did, but it was still only 76 by the morning. Not being able to control the temperature better caused us to move to Home 2 Suites downtown, which was half the price and much better all around. I will say the breakfast buffet at Hotel Capstone was amazing, but expensive. The walls were also paper thin.
