Visit Capo if you're in the neighborhood. Don't let the crowded ambience, rustic decor and limited privacy deter you—the main attraction is the food. Savor every bit of the Italian fare that is doled out in huge portions—Bluefin Tuna Tartare and Lobster Risotto, to name a few. The wine list complements the meals and a full bar is also available. Desserts like Candied Bread Pudding or Creamy Panna Cotta flatter the palate. The place is open from Tuesday to Saturday 6pm onwards.

GREAT! – After reading some of the reviews posted here, I was a little concerned about dining at Capo. Once there, all my concerns disappeared. The room is beautiful, the ambiance is romantic, and the servers are extremely nice and accomodating. Then there is the food - perfect. Great fresh flavors. Simplicity at its best. To people who say it is too expensive - eat somewhere else. Save this place for people who appreciate fine dining and high quality food.
organic elegance – Capo is a small Tuscan style villa with a fireplace framing the well lit dining room. Great art work hangs on the walls with Italian pottery plates and French sterling silver place settings. No detail is missed. Capo is about serving the best available organic ingredients simply. When you get their food products you realize why they do not need to be masked with sauces that block their flavor. Knowledgeable waiters only, working together for a warm friendly professionalism. A wine list with over 600 choice... read more
Drop-o Capo – Heck, I don't even remember what I ate. I recall the food was good and the atmosphere was lovely, but what overshadowed everything were the ridiculously high prices. $44 - $48 for a steak? $20 and up for pasta? $18 and $22 salads and appetizers? There is even a $6 charge for split orders, but the portions are nowhere enough for two. All this and $25 corkage fees to boot, and don't even get me started on the wine mark-ups. It is ludicrous that Capo is relatively more expensive than restaurants like French Laundr... read more
You're No Better Than The Waiter – The food was spectacular and the ambience was great. If those two things are valuable enough to endure the rest of the experience you should go to Capo. The waiter was obnoxious with his tone and maintained an air of superiority. That seemed strange coming from a guy that's hoping to get a percentage of my outrageous bill. Celeb factor is high so could be good for out-of-towners looking to drop some coin. I will spend my money elsewhere unless I have a compellling reason to return (i.e. a f... read more
Not worth the big bucks they charge – The food was ok, but definitely not worth the money. I'd suggest it to people hoping to see celebs, but otherwise, go to your neighborhood Italian restaurant. Even Valentino's was less expensive, and the food their food was on par with Capo's. The ambience was romantic, and you're a quick walk from Casa del Mar or Shutters for cocktails, and the service was great. Once again, the food was just not worth the money.
