The rooms were adequate, but had a slow drain in the tub. Good place to sleep. Not a whole lot around and a little sketchy unless you go about a half mile west.
Took a group of kids here for a state fbla competition. The room was fine maybe outdated but that doesn't bother me much. Stayed 2 night and room was never cleaned after first night. Got in about 930 Sunday evening so was tired and ready for bed. Got up and went down and thought I would try there breakfast. 12 bucks plus tax and was horrible. Opens at 7 and was there around 710. The lobby area, elevator, and overall common areas look nice. The 1st room I was assigned had not bee cleaned. They reassigned me to another room. I'm attaching a picture of the tub with rust on it. The thermostat didn't work well as the temperature never really adjusted. Room number 720.
Not a very helpful front desk. When we needed the General manager to answer questions and make a decision they would not answer. Not blaming the front desk workers but the general manager is lacking. Called his phone number and his voicemail had a message 5 months old on it.
The hotel is decent for Topeka. The double rooms are only double beds and the mattresses needs replaced. The past visits have had broken down mattresses and I wake up with a horrible backache. This hotel isn't all bad but the beds are in need of a upgrade.
