First time in here. Really friendly fellas in the shop. I was a walk-in and they were really cool about it, said I'd be next and asked me to sit down. Got a haircut and beard trim from Cris and he did a bangup job! I felt bad for the dude because it's been probably 7 or more years since I went in for a clean cut, but he perceviered and man, I tell you, I'm very happy with the results of Cris's work. I'll definitely be going back.

Been coming here to see Simon for over 7 years. It’s an authentic, clean barbershop with easy parking and Simon is a great barber. Pricing is clear and there’s no silly gimmicks, just good, friendly barbers in a simple shop. The owner, Oscar, is usually there, really nice guy. I always book with Simon but I’d trust any of the barbers here. Highly recommend.

Fouad is my new go to barber. after searching for a year and a half i finally found myself back at capital city. For context i used to come here 10-15 years ago when Johnny, nando, and the rest of the gang were here. Fouad’s attention to detail is bar none!

Best barbershop in South Austin. Friendly atmosphere and everyone is always upbeat. Simon always knows what my son wants, he takes his time, is detailed and very professional. My baby boy always enjoys his time there. Oscar, the owner, is always welcoming and very engaged. I highly recommend Capitol City Barbershop.
