This was my first experience with CWC in Frederick. I was very pleased with my experience there. Every staff member I came in contact with was polite, helpful and comforting. I’m also pleased by how quickly I was in and out of my appointment. I have never had an appointment where I was only there for 45 minutes. Extremely pleased! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!
I want to preface by saying I live In WV and I decided to stay with capital women’s care in Frederick because I though that the doctors were extraordinary, the nurses and staff were always amazing and when I gave birth to my son in June, Dr. Castillo (I may be spelling her name wrong) but she was so amazing and made the experience great. HOWEVER; Never have I ever experienced such rude and inconsiderate service EVER as I did today in the Mt. Airy office. I live in Wv and usually go to the capital women’s care in frederick on... read more
Dr. Schipper is such an amazing doctor! very personable and has great bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients and really tries his best to meet their needs. 10/10 would recommend!
My insurance was billed $700 for a well woman visit. All in all it took about 10 minutes. The insurance denied 1 charge and reduced other charges but still left me with a ridiculous doctor bill ($296.80) for a 10 minute appointment. My appointment was over 2 weeks ago and I have not received any results from my pap smear and in an effort to log into the patient portal to see if they are posted there I find out I need a token that the office never provided. So not only do I feel I got nickel and dimed but now I am also dealin... read more
About three months ago I went to see Emily Stem, a NP. i was struggling with constant low back pain, pelvic pain, heavy bleeding a clotting, I had also been told that I may have Endometriosis by Carroll Hospital and mentioned that to her as well as a breast lump. She ignored everything I said and gave me metformin and sent me on my way. About two weeks ago I went to the ER with severe pelvic pain and the hospital found that I have a golf ball sized complex ovarian cyst on my right ovary. So if you want someone who listens do... read more
I had my son May 30 via csection. Everything that could have gone wrong did! My wound ended up pouring bloody fluid out 4 hours after Dr Williams put steri strips on my incison after have a useless wound vac on it for 2 days. Recently I ended up with a belly filled with fluid and went in to the clinic and they could only get me in to see Dr Williams which was fine with me as its a whole separate issue. She ordered a ct scan. Based on my insurance the order needed to say STAT on it otherwise I would have to wait 9 business da... read more
Dr. Schipper saved my life. He took me on as a new patient as if he had known me for years with out hesitation. He agreed to see me for the first time on his day off when he realized how much trouble I was in he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He got me scheduled for surgery right away. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for all of the compassion they have shown me and my family during these past few months they are like family not just a medical practice.. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Capital Women’s Care is illegally denying me medical treatment for my diagnosis or PCOS. They state that I must pay a $500 bill in full and will not take a payment plan. I am unable to pay this bill in full, but would be able to pay a part of the bill. They refuse to see me unless I pay it in full. I believe this is illegal and I am in contact with the press and a lawyer. I do not recommend Stacey or her un-empathetic staff, that is in desperate need of sensitivity training.
I am finally fed up with this place after 5 years. I will not go into detail about my experiences, but if you are looking for a clinic that is compassionate, professional, and timely, please look elsewhere.
