The customer service at Capital Remodeling is atrocious. I called yesterday to cancel the service because I received a better quote and the young lady hung up on me. When I called back she issued no apology and just transferee me to the zone manager (Gaithersburg). He didn't contact me until this morning. He was not pleasant at all and kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain the situation and let him know that the contract was not explained to me (I believe his name was Rick). My kitchen is not only beautiful, it was an absolutely painless experience from start to finish. No going to a showroom after you sign a contract - they bring all the samples you might want to choose from to your home, and you decide before signing. Realistic dates for the project, no pushing back. Only began demolition when cabinets have arrived. Crew was efficient with clean-up every day, and happily answered any questions I had. I had canceled an appointment because the representative on the phone *insisted* that "everyone I may discuss the project and your company's offer be at the house during the meeting. That is unrealistic and against my rights as a US Citizen and a human being. I am the sole owner of my house and whom I choose to discuss a project is *my* business! I don't appreciate such sales pressure techniques and no one should be subject to them!

Totally dishonest & unprofessional. No response to calls. No customer service once they collect that down payment. Conflicting information on warranty coverage. BAD BUSINESS!

Capital Remodeling was a very professional and knowledgeable team throughout the entire process. Kira was our sales rep. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. She was very flexible and able to work with our schedule, including meeting on Saturdays and weekday evenings. The installation was completed according to the quoted time frame. Bunch of rip- off artists. They wanted me to pay them an additional fee for led based paint that my house had. Problem was when the non English speaking installers came to do the install. Nobody told them they had to put up plastic so the lead base paint didn't come in my house. So they exposed lead base paint in the house and then they wanted me to pay them. They are without a doubt the worst!

Capital Remodeling is amazing. The whole process from start to finish went extremely smoothly. We ordered 18 windows and they were installed in one day. The sales staff, customer service and the installation team are all top notch.
