I've lived here now for 3 year and moved to a larger apartment. Lisa is great as the manager and if I have any problems, they are fixed in a reasonable time frame. Rent is affordable, neighbors good, and walking distance to downtown. Close the bus line and two blocks from major highway 496
This is not the place to call home. My neighbors are good, quiet and all working hard toward their degrees etc. The staff here is lazy, slow and never , never, respond unless you contact the home office in the Detroit area. I have experience bed bugs, leaking roof and little or no maintenance and nothing is ever repaired on the first trip. No heat on two occasions in the winter for a period of 24 hours The carpet in the hallways is filthy and in need of cleaning. LOOK VERY CLOSELY BEFORE SIGNING THAT LEASE. No priorities in this place. Back door hasn't been fixed in 2 months and still isn't. Basement smells like mold and sewer. Toilet runs. My floor hasn't been fixed since I moved in (January). Got in for a good price and decent rent but not feeling like it's worth it these days.
