I recently saw Dr. Varney and his helpful dental assistant, Brenda, for the first time to replace a troublesome crown.. In less than two hours, a new crown was cast, the existing tooth remodeled and a temporary crown attached , all of which fit well and the procedure caused very little pain. I hurled question after question during this and all was patiently addressed. Dr. Varney claims he likes questions because then he can show off how much he knows and indeed he does! My visit with the dental hygienist, Crystal, was wonderful. She was professional, thorough, and pleasant. But I highly recommend all of the staff at Capital Dental Bethesda.

Have you ever had a service experience where your expectations were so far exceeded that you find yourself reflecting on that experience 24 hours later? Dr. Varney diagnosed my issue, explained the cause, objectively reviewed my options and provided the solution. In my 59 years on this planet, I have never had a dental experience that has come close.

The doctor and staff are kind and enthusiastic. The entire team works at keeping the process effective and efficient. I have had 100% results in the dental services, scheduling and billing. They have achieved excellence in customer services.
Yesterday I had the chance to go to Capital Dental at Bethesda for the first time and I was very impressed by how professional every member of the staff was. They all treated me with respect and made feel like I was at a family reunion. The dental hygienist (Krystle) and the doctor took good care of me that I cannot wait to go back again. I recommend this place to everyone living in Bethesda and Rockville area.
Dr. Varney was thorough and professional, and a really nice guy. He took the time to explain and clarify, without pressuring me to have more procedures done.
