Kind of stumbled upon the place after leaving out of The Manship Theatre....1st timers! As we were walking out and peered through the glass, we liked what we saw and immediately turned back around to come inside. My grilled pork chops were superb! Very thick and juicy! Loved them. My husband had the 1/2 & 1/2 (catfish & shrimp) and although he enjoyed the shrimp, the taste of the fish was not so great. Nice atmosphere and we would definitely come back.
Get the stale sub rolls for $3 or the $25 steak enjoy

Very disappointing experience at lunch today. Our waiter was unfriendly, the service was slow, and the food was lukewarm at best. I've eaten here several times and never had an experience like today.
Steak was good...service exceptionally slow. Steak came with red potatoes turned out to be nothing more than cubed French fry! Wouldn't recommend as a major choice in Baton Rouge. Try Little Village!
