Amazing staff and provider. Always so kind and gentle
I was very disappointed with our experience with Dr. Schmidt at Canyon Kids Dental. During my friend’s 4-year-old son’s appointment, she asked his mom to move away from his side. When he became visibly scared and started panicking, Dr. Schmidt told his mom to “sit on the bench” and that she “only wanted him hearing her voice.” For a young child who is already anxious about a dental visit, I felt the situation could have been handled with much more compassion, patience, and respect for both the child and his parent.
