I second what Pam Spring has written in her review. I had the exact same experience with seeing Dr. Young. I have absolutely no eye problems and have 20/20 vision. This was supposed to be just a routine annual checkup and buying glasses. Instead of billing VSP, they billed my general insurance as a medical checkup. I am having to waste time with my insurance and not sure if they will approve or not
ONE STAR . . . Although Dr. Mack was friendly and professional, I would not recommend the practice. I was a new patient and told the scheduling person that I just needed an annual exam for a prescription for glasses. They asked me if I had insurance, and replied that I did. They told me that the first available appointment was on such-and-such a date with Dr. Mack, so I took it. Unbeknownst to me, Dr. Mack is an Ophthalmologist, not an Optometrist. Love Dr Mack. Great attitude and explains things, will answer questions. The ladies nurses and front desk are great too.
Love Dr. Young. She is patient and wonderfully professional. The staff is lovely and I am glad to have found her 12 years ago.
