We always loved this place. It's a tradition. But this last visit was horrible. Crabs were tiny (large) and so over cooked that what meat was inside them turned to a pasty glue like substance. We showed the server and she gave us a credit. The drunken muscles should have been called invisible muscles. Nothing in most shells. Just not good.
We had a side salad, steamed mussels,crabs and Annie our waitress recommended the crab soup..all were delicious! I like the family style seating, looked like everyone around us enjoyed their food too. We will definitely be back!
I think alk my crabs just too overboiled. Their meat was so soaky and taste nothing. Need to improve the way or timing to boild them.
Went yesterday with some long time friends and had the most delicious crabs! They were very meaty, and tasty and fresh! Cantler's is the best crab/seafood restaurant around, plus the scenery can't be beat! I absolutely love the butternut squash crab soup but it wasn't available yesterday :( That was the only disappointment! I can't wait to return!
I took my 87 year old father, his 80 something wife and her friends to lunch on a beautiful October day. The staff was wonderfully helpful, the atmosphere awesome and the food super �
Awesome food!! We had soup, crabs, fried shrimp and steamers. We also had hush puppies that I don't normally like, but I have to say I LOVED these!!
Perfect setting, amazing food, very attentive staff! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Great place to get crabs! Can't imagine it being anymore perfect.
