This Southern Italian favorite in the North End has been popular since it opened in 1931. You will spot the big, neon sign over the bustling scene on Hanover Street. The dining room is filled with tables, plush plastic booths, ornate posters and bright lighting. Hearty, traditional meals are the draw. Expect to see generous portions of spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, lasagna and veal piccatta. No fusion is allowed, but the red sauce has something of a cult following. The restaurant also serves beer and wine.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner our last night in Boston here. Our waiter was great and very attentive. The Manager was incredibly friendly and inviting and checked on the patrons often. He was even kind enough to take a picture of us in front of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!!
Awesome experience and atmosphere!! Bartenders were very nice, great service. Food was delicious!! Even the Maitre D' made us feel like we were in Italy!! Highly Recommend!
