Andrew, the food and atmosphere was excellent! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
We just came from the airport and were looking for a place to eat. The pubs were all packed because it was St. Patrick’s Day. We decided to go to the north end. We found a spot outside this restaurant and I called. A man with a very friendly voice told us to come right in. This was the best dinner decision in years. The nice man with the Italian accent told us his restaurant was the best Italian in Boston. Skeptically I said we will see. 27 Years ago I had the privilege of dining here. I have always remembered the meal. I have always wanted to go back but never lived anywhere near by. Yesterday I was finally able to got back. WOW am I glad I did. Even though it’s 1 1/2 or 2 hours each way, I’ll be going back soon!
Great food! Great service! I haven’t been to Cantina Italiana in a long time but it’s as great as I remembered it!!
