How good is it to arrive at accomodation & be greeted by friendly re option staff ! this motel has been very well maintained & updated & has plenty of off street parking. Although it is located on the corner of 2 very busy roads noise has not been an issue on either of our stays. Pls support our local businesses & book directly for competitive rates.
Stayed here as part of a Cake Decorating Seminar and was extremely pleased with all aspects. Staff were ever so obliging and addressed any problems that we had. Our room was clean and we did not require daily attention.
First impressions "Very nice" Reception was average not really pleased to see you and no happy greeting just the basic of what you needed to know re room, payment. room was clean and had what you needed but nothing else Bed was not the most comfortable kept moving away from the head board. bedding was clean but mattress cover & sheets way to large for double bed duvet was a single laid across the bed with another huge sheet over top and you couldn't pull up to keep you warm I found a blanket in wardrobe but again it draped t... read more
The food was top rate and well portioned. The rooms are comfortable. Strange having a quilt that goes sideways so if you pull it up, your feet stick out. The furnishings are a bit tired and dated but I was there for a function, which was well run. I was in a room at the back so there was no traffic noise which I appreciated. Very friendly helpful staff.
Rooms were not very clean and appliances and furniture were still dirty. Dishwasher was still full of dishes and no tea towel to do dishes ourselves. Dirty kitchen sponge left in sink, toilet seat was not even attached so we had to fix so it could be used by people. Mice we’re present in the room on multiple occasions, food served on Sunday at a seminar was raw and mentioned by several people.
