Waited 6hrs for a room even though the specialist said he had one waiting for us and used private insurance. When a room became available it was not clean,there were wads of gum in the basin drain. Then kicked out of the room and put into a public ward in the morning. This is what $280 a month insurance gets you. Dirty hospital. The one star is just because the staff were pleasant.
My grandfather was brought to Canterbury hospital via ambulance after a fall. Thank you very much to the kind care and attentiveness of all of the emergency staff! In particular, thank you to Drs Jenny and Roger for their great care, and to RN Natasha (and many others whose names I did not get). Keep up the good work guys!
Worst hospital ever, worst staffs ever, speaking as a patient and as a nurse.
Horrible experience. Waited over 5hrs in ED. Staff rude. Hospital doesn't have any specialized services so don't bother if you think you need any specialists treatment. Didn't have cardiology tests, endoscopy tests ... Go to bigger hospitals with actual qualified staff.
