I once again had the pleasure to trave to Chicago with Canterbury Books and Tours. Thinking about seeing a play in Chicago, I also think about the traffic, parking, tickets and decide not to go. I have discovered that with Canterbury I just look forward to the day. Yesterday we left the parking lot in a warm bus, met new friends and visited with old companions until we were dropped off on Michigan Avenue for lunch and shopping. Thursday, May 10 was a trip into the Lombard Lillac Festival - the day was beautiful and so were the flowers. We then stopped for shopping in Oakbrook, lunch at Nordstrom. Then a step on guided tour through the Morton Arboredum. It was a wonderful day!
We love the great tickets for the Wrigley Field game. We went in April and the tickets were on the 3rd base side... we saw everything! Thanks again for a great day!
We took our first "trip" with Canterbury Trours this summer to see "Wicked." From the minute we boarded the bus until we returned to the parking lot, we had a delightful day. Because someone else was driving, we were able to relax and visit. The trip included a bit of shoping on Michigan Ave., time for lunch and then on to the theatre.
