Cantabria has easily been my favorite place to go for years, the food is always good and the coffee is better than any other place in town that isn't a commercial chain. However they are slow. . . Slow to the point of your coffee getting cold. My partner and I stopped in for drinks and a place to work, but the vibe was uncomfortable from the start. The staff stared us down, weren’t friendly, and when we asked about turning on a light, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. The energy was stiff and unwelcoming, so we left.

I’ve been a customer here for years and this place will always hold a special spot in my heart. I usually order a London Fog (which runs about $8). Today was my first time ordering just a regular brewed coffee with oat milk (+$1) and honey/cinnamon (+$1). After tip, it came to $6, which already felt steep for plain coffee.
