Sneaky and shady company, the sales representative lied to me saying to sign a few forms and to give him a $1000 deposit so we can get a roof inspection, after the inspection )4 days later ) I decided to replace the roof first and wanted my deposit back, well they never gave me my money back. additionally I found much better companies afterwards, better price, bigger more efficient system , better solar panels with micro inverters and a much lower price $6000 dollars better. This company is a bunch of crooks!
Shafted my parents. Contract signed 11/13/19 and now 6/15/20, the solar has NEVER worked! Paying electric bill and solar payment (they sold the loan to a third party). The worst is we are unable to get a hold of anyone at the company. I wish my parents had read the other reviews to stay far away from this company!!! I believe they were targeted as senior citizens.
We have been waiting for months for them to get final inspection from sdg&e . Turns out it was never ordered. They will not return our phone call either. They were supposed to pay our electric bill until it was turned on and , surprise! They have not

it took awhile to get started with 1st installing our new roof. then after that the installation of our solar panels seem to get finished in a short time which made us happy customers . only one problem arose and the company Canopy took care of that quickly so that made us believe we made the right choice after all was completed . our electric bill has gone down to only $6.00 or less each month compared to before we got the solar panels installed, our electric bill was almost $200. so we are SUPER HAPPY when we pay our month... read more
The company took care of everything I needed, including arranging the loan and inspectors, and they stayed in touch with me throughout the process. Their salesman was very professional, no "hard sell," simply explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. The installers were polite and conscientious, and the job was done on time.
Canopy Energy DOES NOT deliver on their commitments. No one @ Canopy Energy communicates to their unvalued customers. Don’t make the same mistake I did by trusting the false promises fed to me by Riri Elfassy
No one returns your calls, been trying to get a hold of someone and for weeks and nothing!!!
They are just the worst company you can imagine. Save yourself the trouble.
