We always start our vacation @ the Canoe. The food is second to none and the restaurant has been recently beautifully remolded. We love Janice; she's a top-notch waitress and a lovely person. I am giving a 4 star ONLY because our bread was served in a brown paper bag ( I thought for a moment why is it in the paper bag !!) that was Terrible !! My dinner was a 10 !!! My sister told me her dinner was a 10 too !!! My other complaint was the dessert ( I had the chocolate pudding in a shell. That was HORRIBLE !! Deffently will b back for the appetizers cocktails and dinner ! Bon appétit 😊
The scallop dish was one of my favorite ever! Outstanding!

We ate a few weeks after reopening and love the new space! It was very busy on a Saturday night, we had reservations for 5 at 8pm. We arrived at 7:45 and was told our table wasn't ready, understandable. By 8:10 they finally seated us (not our correct table), which was fine. As we ordered and received our appetizers (always get the canoe chops- with bacon!) the, I believe, head hostess came over and apologized. She said our original seating was set for downstairs and that the table wasn't available, she was then willing to co... read more
