Alan is fantastic! I am a dog walker/sitter and bring many of my dogs in on Fridays so I can bathe them. Alan keeps several of them trimmed and cut and the all look fabulous when he is done!
We are new to Los Angeles, and found this place on google, he was friendly and inviting, and was very familiar with our breeds hair cut. He exceeded our expectations. Our dogs came back looking better than ever.
Highly recommended groomer! Allan knows how to treat your dog like royalty! Expect professional treatment for your 4 legged child. He's knowledgable on virtually all breeds and I swear your dog comes out looking and smelling like a show dog. He's been doing this for years and I'm surprised I was able to even get an appointment. Have been using Alan for several years now, and at this point, I don't know that I'd trust anyone else with my dogs. Although getting groomed is never their cup of tea, they adore Alan. And the man knows his stuff. I've taken his recommendation on several cuts and always ended up very happy with the adorable outcomes. A word of warning: Alan is quirky and cheerful to the point of almost being eccentric, but he clearly loves what he does, and the results speak for themselves.
I had a great experience at Canine Cuts! It was easy to call and make an appointment. Alan was friendly and warm, and my dog Phoebe, a rescue schnauzer who can be a little shy, was very comfortable with him. Turns out Alan is an award winning groomer with a specialty in schnauzers! We really lucked out! He even let me come in the back to watch him wash her.
