I will probably never go back. After last nights experience of waiting in the parking lot for 3 1/2 hours at a deadlock, I won’t be spending my money again. We left at 9:15 just to beat traffic and we didn’t move until 12:20 until after there was a fight that broke out and literally 10 SHERIFFS show up, who obviously weren’t doing their job, and when asked what is happening they stood there just looking at the guy asking. I have attended the Fair since I can remember and worked concessions every year since age 14. It is in my blood, a large part of my young years. What I am about to share was so upsetting and heartbreaking to me. My friend and I were chatting openly about why the employee at the ride ticket booth had to apply the wrist band. I casually mentioned it was because some people might put it on too loose and try to share it, so I could understand why they choose the staff to put it on. We love Canfield Fair & have been going for years! The Big Truck pulls are my favorite, but we were very disappointed this year that they allowed beer. It only caused people to get up more & more to go get more. Very hard to watch truck & tractor pulls with people getting up & down constantly to go get beer! Other than that we had a great time, as always!
Total nightmare leaving this fair. Parking lot was literally gridlocked for hours with nobody directing traffic. Absolutely ridiculous. Called the fair and the fair police and they were just plain rude and could have cared less about the hundreds of cars trapped in the parking lot and they sent nobody to help direct traffic. They had our money and you were in a total free for all when you left the fair!
always had a great time at the fair, great food, nice people..never had a bad experience
first and last time coming. Traffic control ruined it. So far since pulling out of my parking spot I have moved one foot in an hour.

We all had a great time! So many rides for the grandkids and they moved through the lines very quickly. Food was delicious, the grounds are beautiful and clean; and the weather was perfect!
