RecommendedMy 4yr old loved the fair; however, as a parent this year, I saw a lot of frustration that I’ve never seen before. The ride operators in 2018 don’t seem to be checking that children are seat belted. I saw a few kids that were not belted, or the ride latch bar secured. Every other year/fair/carnival, the ride ops ensured safety. This year, parents sit outside the fence waiting and watching, getting anxious, and going inside the fence to do it themselves. because when u leave it takes 3 hrs to get out of parking lot. ridiculous. Their traffic flow is atrocious. never again.
i was a vendor there about 12 years ago. was a wonderful experience, people were very friendly and polite. and the food there is out of this world. love to go back !
My husband has been on night shift, so we did a morning date to the #CanfieldFair this year. I must say, I'm 100% utterly disappointed in the board members for no longer allowing Veterans in for free. If you're active, you get in for free, but if you're even a combat veteran, you get nothing! Shame on you Canfield Fair!! SHAME!!!

I am a 100% disabled veteran with a permanent active military id and was told my military id was not active and if I wanted to come back in my full uniform I was able to enter then. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I called the office and was informed by the gentleman in charge of the gates that some people only do 4 years and never leave the states. As if valor is quantifiable. I voiced my complaints to no avail. I will not be returning and am saddened by the treatment I was given.
Great family fun! Good fun! So much to do and see!
