NEWEST UPDATE 8/7/2025: (photos from previous experience not this) WORST SERVICE! I have given this place a chance time & time again thinking our service would be better. Nope! Still rude, slow younger gentleman by the name of Ronaldo C. He has gotten my order wrong numerous times & this is the the final straw for my husband & I. He hands us chips, but not our waters. Canela is the best Mexican café in South Jersey. Please stop by and look at all the Mexican specials. I love the street tacos. Best prices and super clean environment. Great customer service.
Worst Mexican place I been to! Many of the reviews mention that the food isn’t great, it’s overpriced, and the staff isn’t friendly, my experience was no different. One review also noted a strange smell when you walk in, which I I experienced it myself. It’s definitely not something you want to notice at a restaurant. Nothing about this place was good
