I have been going to Dr. Ackland for care for how many years, I cannot remember. She always greets you with a smile and takes care of all your needs. She does not make you feel rushed when explaining things to you. If you have to see her, they manage to fit you in as soon as possible.

Takes the time to go over everything with you. Explains different options and makes recommendations based on your concerns. I never feel rushed and leave my appointments with all my questions answered.

For some reason my original review was not posted. The doctor is fine. Her nurse is rude. Her office manager is abusive, both verbally and physically. I have never in my life, before this, had someone at a physicians office put their hands on me in anger.

I have had Dr. Ackland as my PCP for several years. She has always been patient, kind, and possesses a broad range of medical knowledge . She is caring and thorough and I trust her enough to travel 90 minutes to see her. Her office staff are efficient and courteous. Her nurse always responds to my call within hours. I can't say enough about this doctor and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Family physician.

Dr. Ackland is not receptive to her patients. She is condescending and unwilling to listen to her patients needs. She will say she is treating you for one thing and on paper it's something totally different. She is also against the medical cannabis program, despite a qualified patients right to access these medications she would rather you end up in jail. Her office staff is kind, which is the only plus this office has. Thereally is also a huge delay in getting important medication filled.
