Check in for a night stay, the front desk is very slow, taking forever to check in at 1 pm and 6 pm. Also, now they charge you another 50 bucks for early check in. Terrible fee from IHG. Stay away from staying here and IHG. Do not recommend.

Our flight was canceled and this is where we stayed overnight until our flight the next day. Room was very spacious and convenient. The shower curtain was too short and we had to lay 2 additional towels on yhe floor to keep the bathroom floor from pooling up water. The lobby and halls really stunk though, actually smelled bad. Kinda like a dirty diaper and some air freshener trying to mask it. Luckily the room did not smell, or there is no way we could have stayed there. Quiet. Clean. The bar is next door inside Holiday Inn. Avoid the DWI and just stay here. Cheers.
Just finished my summer in Austin, and had to go home back to Boston. Unfortunately my flight was canceled and the place I was staying at couldn't host me anymore. Honestly I'm only writing this review because a young gentlemen named Grey Gilyan was able to accommodate me and my family. He went out of his way to make my family feel safe while we waited for our flight back home. I usually stay downtown when I'm in Austin, but the service and hospitality here has me thinking I might stay here from now on. Thank you Candlewood ... read more
