I'm new to the area and brought my pets to this location to establish care in June. I needed to get a prescription for Trifexis because both pets only had the July dose left. I tried to order through 1800 pet meds for Aug but apparently Candlewood refuses to work with them. I didn't find out until I called the vet to ask if they received the request. I was already 2 wks late because I was expecting a delivery and I asked if they would call the prescription into a local pharmacy so that I can pick it up. They said no because ... read more

The best care for pets anywhere
Amazing people who are not out to make a buck but actually love animals and treat them with dignity and respect.
I foster dogs for an organization and have worked with the staff and in particular Dr. Maizel. Not only are they kind and compassionate with the dogs, some that are in rough shape, Dr Maizel is wonderful with these animals that may not trust humans any more and works closely with them to make sure they are comfortable with his touch and is so forthcoming with treatment and recommendations. I know they appreciate the care and I am so comfortable recommending Candlewood Animal Hospital to others. Thanks for all you do.
They are great to our Tucker
I absolutely love every single person at the front desk and in the back. The doctors and the staff are so incredibly kind, caring, and so helpful. Everyone there is so passionate about their jobs and it shows. My Sugar sees Dr. O who oversees Sugars allergies and has been the only veterinarian to get her allergies under control after seeing a hand full of veterinarians including a dermatologist. I am so grateful for Dr. O and the wonderful saff at Candlewood Veterinarian.
