Simply amazing in every way! Best plant based food I've had in NYC 😍🌱💚💚💚
This is my go-to spot for special occasions, as it is more upscale than pretty much every other vegan restaurant in NYC. I just celebrated my birthday here & enjoyed everything.
We travelled from Australia to have our daughter's 21st surprise birthday party at Candle79. The night exceeded our expectations. The food was divine and the service was outstanding. Thank you to Benay and your wonderful staff for making the night such a memorable one. Jordan was thrilled with her birthday party and everyone had a fabulous time. We will definately be visiting again when we come back to NYC.
It was another delicious treat today at Candle 79. My palette is sensitive and healthy, fresh food is a must. I've eaten at Candle 79 on many occasions and have ALWAYS been in awe of their flavorful dishes....and desserts. The service also is always superb.
I've celebrated my birthday here for the past four years. Wonderful cocktails (the Rainforest!), Brussels sprout salad, several gluten-free options, and decadent desserts, along with the lovely staff and ambience make this restaurant a real treat.

Excellent restaurant. The ravioli are to die for! Quesadillas, wheat balls and spaghetti, mushroom crepes were all so tasty and the presentation is visually very appealing. We had raw sweet potato pie and ice cream of the day and berry crumble. This one of new York's finest vegan spots.

A real gem! We enjoyed the atmosphere, service, food & wines a lot. The vegetable quesadilla is so good! As is the seitan piccata (all that I've tasted so far). I hope to be back :-)
