Cancun is my #1 place for Mexican – Being raised in Southern and Central CA...I have often said that I have enchilada sauce running through my veins, instead of blood. Well, if my veins were filled with Cancun's enchilada sauce, I'd be a happy camper. Daniel and Pedro are always wonderful whenever I go in, the service is prompt, the food hot and tasty, and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day on a reasonable tab. Love the Cancun!!! It is my #1 place for Mexican in Utah!!!

My favorite Mexican restaurant – I've finally found my best Mexican restaurant. Good quality, good portions and good prices. I have thoroughly enjoyed my last few visits. I have found the service to be exceptional, even on busy nights.

Don't waste your money – This used to be a great spot for Mexican food and was at one time my old stand-by. Not any more. Last two times have been horrible. Service is poor and the food is not good to say the least.. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children. We given a small bowl of chips. I ask for more chips and guess what.... two dollars more on the bill. Also $1.50 extra charge for lettus on one plate. Two of the dinners were not as ordered, but it didn't make any difference as it was all bad. It was 7:00 PM on Saturda... read more

pretty lame.... – Stopped in for a quick dinner with my 7 year old daughter-my burrito had some kind of pot roast gravy looking stuff on the top (chile verde???) and her quesadila was pronounced 'sour' (maybe lime juice had gotten on it in the kitchen?) . My request for hot sauce seemed to take the waiter by surprise and he had to go back to get something from a fridge....We will not be eating there again. Gross.

helpful info. – What some "people" don't look at is that the 20% is the transaction fee from YOUR bank!!! it's usually pending when you check. Check back when it's all done pending and your money should be back!!! If not Cancun Cafe WILL refund your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check your bank statement. They added an additional 20% tip – They add 20% to your bill without letting you know. I checked my statement a few days later and they added another 20% without my permission.

homemade mexican - great price – Great for the whole family - the homemade chips and salsa start things off just right and the prices are nice too. We like that the environment is nice yet casual and love the flan to finish things off! I really shouldn't tell anyone so I can keep it to myself, but the restaurant is too good to not share.

Salty Mexican food – We used to eat here a lot - they used to have the best Rellenos - then the food got really salty (new cook?). After a couple of times mentioning it to them with no change in the saltiness nor sympathy with our unhappiness, we stopped going. Well, we decided to give it another try last weekend. The food is still way too salty and if you need to avoid salt - that's not good. We mentioned it again when we left and received no response from the guy at the door - no "I'm sorry", no "that's too bad", no "I'll ... read more

Pretty Darn Good – This isn't a fancy place to eat but the food is always pretty darn good and the service consistent. The tacos are a little smaller than they used to be and the chips have changed from the old style, but the place still gets my business because the food tastes good and is served hot.
