I went to the GLH After Hours Clinic today and received awful service. This past Wednesday I wasn’t feeling well so I went to the THMH ER in Winona. My symptoms were cough, congestion, runny/stuffy nose and sneezing. The did bloodwork, X-rays and COVID/flu/strep tests. All of my results came back normal and negative. I was given 2 antibiotics and 1 antihistamine. Today July 4th I am still battling a slight runny nose and a little congestion. I battle with sinus infections every 3-4 months. I made it to the ER at 6:10pm, went to the back at 6:25pm. I was told on several instances, that they hadn't been busy. The doctor came in at 7:35 . ordered EKG, Nebulizer Treatments, Blood Work and Chest Xray. Got EKG and blood work at 7:55 Did the breathing treatments at 8. I went for Xray at 8:30. No one came to check to see if I was alright. I asked the nurse how much longer and he said that he couldn't say. I checked my self out at 9:56pm.without any results. Only 2 people were in front of me, but the ones that flooded ... read more

The doctors and staff are top notch. After spending several months in the hospital I would not hesitate to recommend GLH. The doctors and nurses in ICCU are the best. Thanks to those skilled professions and the grace of God I am alive today.
