I've seen two hematologists in the past several years, and they were polar opposite experiences. On one hand, one doctor was by far the worst doctor I've ever experienced, and on the other hand, the other doctor was by far one of the best. Dr. Ekaha has been my oncologist for the last 4 years - I am very happy with my care. He is more up to date on the latest research than I even expected, he is kind, caring and thorough. I got a second opinion at the nearest big academic center and decided I trusted and liked Dr. Ekaha better. He is helping me meet my goal of raising my kids which I'm very thankful for.

Dr. Ekaha was the oncologist for my mother and now is for me. He has always impressed my family and me as being warm and compassionate, with our best interests at heart, as he has helped us navigate these roller coaster journeys. His intelligence and cutting-edge knowledge of available treatments are impressive and greatly appreciated.
Dr. Huang has been an amazing physician throughout my father’s cancer treatment. She’s honest, positive yet realistic and extremely caring for her patient. We have enjoyed a remarkable outcome. I would recommend her to everyone. She is an amazing woman.
I had Dr. Dan for my aggressive breast cancer. He is wonderful. I have recommended him to different people. He has a heart of gold. He is sometimes behind, but rememberhe will give you quality time too. He is all about what is best for his patients.
