I am blessed I was able to donate my o+ blood here !! Samantha was very nice with me for whole process !! So organized , everyone was so kind and polite Snacks and juices are free to drink and eat before and after the procedure
I had a disappointing experience at the Canadian Blood Services Guildford location in Surrey. During my first visit, they made multiple attempts to insert the needle, leaving several puncture marks on my arm. On my second visit, the needle was pulled out quite forcefully, leaving a large bruise. I understand that complications can happen, but I believe better technique and training are needed to ensure donor safety and a better experience.
It was a bad experience because I couldn't donate blood since I needed some questions translated to understand them properly, and the excuse was privacy—something illogical and unbecoming of a developed country like Canada. It was truly unfortunate and embarrassing.
Great place! Friendly staff.
